Our “Thank You” Is On Its Way !

Chamberlain and Hitler in Munich

Above: Chamberlin At The 1938 Peace Treaty With Hitler

The following statement was made by British Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain, in front of #10 Downing Street, London, after his arrival home from the Munich Conference of 1938. Chamberlain had met with Adolf Hitler and the leaders of the German people. He believed he had achieved with peace what could not be gotten through war. While Europe was being systematically attacked by German troops, and Jews were being “relocated”, he returned home holding high the flag of victory to say the following infamous words.

“We, the German Fuhrer and Chancellor, and the British Prime Minister, have had a further meeting today and are agreed in recognizing that the question of Anglo-German relations is of the first importance for our two countries, and for Europe. We regard the agreement signed last night and the Anglo-German Naval Agreement, as symbolic of the desire of our two peoples never to go to war with one another again.

We are resolved that the method of consultation shall be the method adopted to deal with any other questions that may concern our two countries, and we are determined to continue our efforts to remove possible sources of difference, and thus to contribute to assure the peace of Europe. My good friends, for the second time in our history, a British Prime Minister has returned from Germany bringing peace with honor. I believe it is “peace for our time.” Go home and get a nice quiet sleep”.

Chamberlin’s personal ignorance of international affairs, his blind ignorance in refusing to recognize his enemy, and his willing ignorance to look the other way while Poland, Hungary and Czechoslovakia became German war zones, is astounding. The lack of historical insight and political foresight by Chamberlin did not bring peace at all. What it did do was give the enemy time to butcher millions, time to form an unholy alliance and time to throw the entire world into chaos. Ironically it also allowed England itself to be targeted by tens of thousands of German U2 rockets. Apparently this was Hitler’s way of saying “thank you” to the English people for such good Anglo-German relations.

And here we are once again in a time of upheaval and brutality. Adults and children alike are being beheaded, burned alive, sold into slavery, thrown off rooftops and executed in cold blood in order to establish an islamic state. All the while the world looks on with morbid fascination as YouTube broadcasts every detail. Where are those who are supposed to be leading? Well, they are out playing golf while stating their position safely from the back of the line.

And what is the solution to the ISIS crisis according to the Whitehouse? Oh yes, thank you for this insightful and well thought out revelation. We need to help these poor, misguided souls get jobs and become productive in society. Once radical muslims begin to work and feel good about themselves it will end their Jihad to destroy western civilization and subjugate the world. All I want to know is, why oh why didn’t Neville Chamberlin think of this? Had he gotten such wisdom back in 1938, and come to the table with a jobs program, Hitler would have built factories rather than death camps, and made baby carriages rather than bombs. Think of it, we could have avoided all of World War 2, if only…..

May God raise up men and women in this day with backbone, conviction and clarity of thought, like Churchill and Roosevelt. We desperately need leaders like this who are honest thinkers and are connected to the real world. These are people who can see evil for what it is, and are determined to destroy it, wherever it is found. We need leaders who are not concerned with being politically correct, but are determined to do what is morally correct. We do not need the false religion of religious tolerance. We need those who will stand against anything that tears at the fabric of civilized society and it’s Judao-Christian foundation.

Unless we rise to the occasion in this hour, and face our enemy head on with the intent of destroying them, the “Chamberlin” spirit will continue to keep us waiting in false hope. As we wait, our enemies keep growing stronger simply because we believed a lie, and seek to achieve “peace for our time” with those who will never make peace unless it’s under Sharia Law. If we wait long enough we will yet receive from ISIS the “thank you” England got from Hitler. Make no mistake about it, if we keep waiting, there is no doubt that we will eventually hear the sound of war in our land. Wake up America and get ready, because our “thank you” from ISIS will soon be on its way!

  1. Wow! Well said Dad. I have a hard time sleeping at night knowing what’s happening to innocent people at the hands of ISIS. How can the leader of our own country enjoy swinging a gulf club…when ISIS continues to swing their swords beheading the innocent?!?!?

  2. Oh Bill, Bill Bill!
Once again you are looking at a problem through the prism of your obvious bias against our president rather than an educated, well thought out offering which I know you are capable of. You do a pretty good job of describing the historical facts surrounding the failure of Chamberlain prior to WWII but your argument falls apart with your mis characterization of the current White House response to the ISIS situation and by the way, the “golf” analogy is just old, tired and inaccurate. Let me offer this: you are a leader, you have a congregation that needs that leadership and at any given time I would guess that there are many people within your congregation that need a hand from their pastor be it through counseling, aid or some other means. Yet you take time to hunt, fish, garden, travel, spend private time with your family. How can you do this when your congregation needs you? It is a simplistic unrealistic and ridiculous argument but not so far from what your expectations of our President are.
Now on a more serious note let me ask this: What about Israel? The threat to Israel is perhaps as great as for any nation and yet where are they in this fight against ISIS? Where is the Prime Minister? Isn’t he traveling about the world speaking to other government bodies like our Congress for what certainly appears to be personal and political purposes?
ISIS, like Nazi Germany is going to require a coordinated world response. It is a complex problem that will require complex solutions. Trying to blame the President and his playing golf for the failure of the world to rise up against them is fool hearted.

    1. Our citizens are beheaded, our ambassador is murdered in Bengazie, etc..etc…. by radical Islam and our president who leads from the back of the line refused to even identify the enemy. Jordan’s president Identified them, declared war on them and went after them for killing one pilot. Failure to lead is not an issue in Jordan. Israel however is in the center of the ISIS crisis as they have to deal with dozens of rockets being fired by Islamic radicals into their land daily. They have radical Islamic suicide bombers killing men, women and children daily and there is the rise of antisemitism all across the globe from Islamic leaders. Then we have the U.N. wanting to look at Israel for war crimes? Huh? What Israel is dealing with will eventually come to America because those in power don’t know the real enemy and don’t see the world as it really is. Nero fiddled as Rome burned…I wonder what our leaders will be doing when ISIS knocks on the door.

    2. Oh Ross, Ross, Ross,

Our Pastor would not be spending time in the garden if his congregation were being beheaded. I assure you!

  3. Semantics? Is it really that important? Terrorists, criminals, radical whatever, a rose by any other name smells the same. That whole “name game” ranks with the golf thing. It is false pretence that supports a false narrative.I don’t think though that you responded to my point and in fact changed the subject. You take our Preident to task for doing other than sitting at his desk in the oval office and yet seem to have no similar distain for the Prime Minister of Israel globetrotting for personal political purposes.
I am a bit perplexed though…….. is it my imagination or isn’t it US jets, drones, advisors etc. that are carrying the largest part of the burden in the middle east right now? Weren’t those American jets that The King of Jordan sent in retaliation? Weren’t those American tanks and planes that The Saudis sent? Isn’t all of that happening because of orders from The President? As for ISIS, it is clear that at least the genesis for ISIS is our actions in the wake of the Iraq invasion.
Christie, I know your pastor and I know that you are right, and I would say with certainty that he would not hunt, fish, etc when his congregation needs him. I was simply trying to make a point, a metaphor.

    1. Just admit our current president is a shady/shifty/sneaky character or lie about him.
Whether or not you agree in how this article was presented, will not make you feel better about the fact that el presidente is one of aforementioned adjectives.
It’s like those people who defend “their” brand car, defend all you want a Yugo is a Yugo and is a piece of crap, if it smells like crap……No amount of defense is going to make you feel better about owning a Yugo. http://content.time.com/time/specials/2007/article/0,28804,1658545_1658533_1658529,00.html
